The priestly breastplate Hamsa ornament will very much excite whoever shall receive it. It is designed as two Hamsas, one on top of the other. Written on the Hamsa in the background is an excerpt from the second chapter of the "Shema Israel" prayer. The inner Hamsa is designed as a smooth plate with the passage "May the lord bless you and keep you safe" embossed on it. Beneath, the priestly breastplate is embossed and inlaid with stones in the same colors as the breastplate stones. The passage "May the lord bless you and keep you safe" is taken from the Kohen's blessing. Its origin is from the blessing of Jacob to his sons Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh, before his death. The breastplate is a relic which served the high priest and symbolized the twelve tribes.
